YWCA of Calgary
DOmestic Violence Poverty & Homelessness Child & Family Health & Wellness

Domestic violence knows no race, color, or economic background. The YWCA believes in helping women, children and men.

On any given night in Calgary, 40 - 50 families – including 30 children under the age of six – will sleep in a shelter.

In Canada, 3 - 5 children in every classroom are witnessing violence in the home.

The YWCA believes the health and wellness of all individuals contributes to a vibrant and healthy community.
